RLI automation's Mobile Robotic System
 

RLI AUTOMATION has recently purchased a mobile robotic system that can be easily transported and installed at a customers facility. This unit is available for a variety of uses including:

• Production manufacturing processes

• Operator training

• On site demos

• Trade shows

 RLI automation specializes in providing multiple process systems to many of our job shop customers. Multiple process systems are capable of performing several types of welding, cutting or other manufacturing processes with a single system. Systems can be designed for manual or fully automated changeover.
 

The RLI AUTOMATION mobile robotic system is an example of a multiple process system. This system is equipped with multiple process features which gives it the capacity to perform a variety of production tasks. The system includes:

• UP-6 Robot with XRC Controller

• Motoweld P-500 welding power source that is capable of welding mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum or silicon bronze in either mig or pulsed mig mode, up to 500 amps @ 100% duty cycle

• Two wire feeders with two welding torches that allow two different filter metals to be set up for use at the same time

• Part gripper for material handling or jigless welding applications

• RLI automation's Multiple Process Interface and Tool Changer System that allows switching wire feeders welding torches and material handling grippers automatically

• Touch Sensing

• Servo Driven MH-150 Positioner that can be combined with a tailstock

• Automatic touch cleaner

• On board air compressor to operate tool changers, the automatic touch cleaner and pneumatic fixture clamps.
